Creating a Google account is easy. Google has designed it in such a way that you can create an account in minutes. However, there is the other side of this thing as well, Google doesn’t want you to remove or delete your Google account.

Removing your Google account from your Android device
It is very easy to do this
- Open your device’s settings
- In settings, you will see something called “Account and Sync” or some similar name
- Open that and you will see different App icons like Facebook, Google, WhatsApp, etc.
- Choose Google
- Now inside Google, you will see the list of Google account on your device
- Choose the one you want to remove
- Inside that, you will sync options and there will be an option to remove the account as well
- Click on remove account and you are done
Deleting your Google account
- Open the Google App or any other App which uses your Google account
- In there go to the Google account section, from where you can switch accounts and add a new one
- There click on “Manage your Google Account“
- Make sure it is the same account that you want to delete
- Finding a delete option is tough, but Google has made it easy by providing a search feature
- Click on the search icon given at the top right
- There search “Delete Google account“
- You will see a result with a similar name below, click on it.
- Now it will ask for your password and will give you some warning before deleting the account.
- Acknowledge it and delete the account
Note: Removing an account is not dangerous, but deleting an account can be dangerous. You should be aware that you won’t be able to access that account anymore and you will not be access any service that was linked to that account. That’s why you need to be careful before deleting your account.
